Welcome back!

Old Web Site

I let this site, blog, and domain lapse a few years back, but I’ve revived it recently to coincide with the reversion of rights to my Zebra books.  Not a painless process, that, but not too bad.

I requested the reversion of rights because I’ve had it in mind to publish eBooks of all my old novels.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting a lot of sales; but I like the idea of having my books available, still “in print” so to speak, if only in digital versions.  Another reason for this site.

As well, an old story, “A Chainsaw Execution”, recently got reprinted, which was kind of cool. As a result, I was contacted by an agent who wondered if I had anything longer to shop around.  I didn’t, but it was kind of interesting to have an agent reach out to me rather than the other way around.

All this came about at a time when I’ve been feeling the urge to write again.   So, the site is back.  Over the next little while I’ll dig around the existing content I have, and put up the material that’s still valid.   As well, I thought I’d start a blog.  I have it in mind to write about writing, about horror, and about writing horror in particular.  I also feel like reminiscing a little about writing horror in the 1980s and 1990s.  It was a fun time, at least for me.

Anyway, thanks for visiting.   I’ll be back.
